Our steel bar is finished with a Cerakote coating: you’ll look tired at the end of your workout, but this barbell won’t, even after years of use! This bar has a tensile strength rating of 190,000 psi and 1500lb capacity so you can depend on it for all your workouts with no fear of it bending. It has a 1.2mm diamond knurl to ensure you can grip without the rip. Equipped with 10 sets of needle bearings, this bar is ultra-responsive. It’s perfect for Olympic lifting and multidisciplinary training.

That’s why we designed the Games Bar with 10 needle bearings (5 per sleeve), allowing for smooth, quick turn-overs for all your lifts.

NON SLIP & CERAKOTE GRIP

Cerakote is SO HOT RIGHT NOW -- and for good reason! Our Games Bar bears a Cerakote finish. This layer protects the steel bar from corrosion, abrasions, and rusting. Plus, the knurling on the bar adds grip without being too sharp. Perfect for all your lifting needs and helps reduce slipping during your reps.

WRAPPED WITH CARE

To prevent unnecessary damage during shipping, all barbells are packaged in a thick cardboard tubing. The packaging is topped off with a special end cap that is tough enough to survive shipping, but is easily removed for unpackaging. As a bonus, each bar is wrapped in an anti-corrosion bag.

DO MORE THAN LIFT WEIGHTS

If you are looking to become a better weightlifter, you’re going to have to do more than lift weights.

Some key areas to focus on are strengthening and refining your squat, mobilizing your hips, doing high-velocity training, and improving your intermuscular balance and coordination. While summarizing each of these points is difficult in a teeny tiny “Pro Tip” box, in essence, you want to:

  1. increase your maximal strength and build a strong, stable base for pulling and catching by focusing on your squat;
  2. improve hip mobility to improve squatting strength and mechanics while preventing injury;
  3. train your body and brain to execute lightning fast movements by choosing lower weight/faster speed exercises and practice dynamic movements (ex. box jumps and skipping);
  4. add “animal walks” (duck walks, bear crawls, bunny hops, etc) and unilateral exercises (i.e. one-arm lifts or carries) to your fitness routine to train your CNS, provide new motor stimuli, and increase balance, body control and coordination
