    The Synergee Aluminum Technique Bar weighs in at 15lb and is the perfect option for new lifters!

    Learning a new skill takes time, patience, and incremental steps. The Technique Bar helps with that! It is 20-30lb lighter than average Olympic barbell. It has 28mm diameter, dual knurl markings, and bushings to give a very comparable experience to a standard barbell.

    With 42 000 psi tensile strength rating and 200lb weight capacity, this Technique Bar provides a significant and meaningful way to build strength and develop proper form for safe and effective workouts. This bar is compatible with standard bumper plates and collars with 2” openings and can fit in a standard squat rack.

    NOTE: When you start consistently lifting 135lb, we recommend moving up to one of our Olympic Bars.

    TRANSITIONING TO THE STANDARD BARBELL

    Congratulations! You are taking some big steps considering getting a technique bar to build a strong foundation for your future in lifting!

    Once you’ve gotten the basics down and you start moving some weight, keep in mind that the technique bar is intended as a steppingstone to standard barbells. Once you start consistently lifting 135 lbs, it’s best to transition to a 35 lb or 45 lb barbell to handle the load.

    As well, Technique Bars should never be dropped. Although they are sturdy, they’re made to be lightweight and subsequently are not as resilient to drops as a standard barbell. Be sure to lower your bar to the ground to keep it functional.
